Welcome to the website of the Association for the European University for Volunteering (EUV). 

EUV focuses on research linked to volunteering and the volunteer sector. It was first established in 1993 and is a travelling university, taking place every time in a different European city.

The aim is, on one hand, to map the current state of research on voluntary work, especially but not only in Europe and also to contribute to knowledge transfer and exchange between theory and practice. The organization and its network are brining together researchers, university professors, politicians, as well as practitioners from the social and volunteer sectors.
